Key specs explained for you
Resolution: 2K QHD
This resolution offers more pixels than standard 1080p displays, providing sharper text and clearer images. You benefit from improved detail when editing photos or watching high-quality video content on the go. It allows you to fit more windows on your screen for multitasking without significant blurring. When shopping, compare this to 1080p models to see if the extra clarity justifies the choice for your specific workflow needs.
Panel Type: QLED
QLED technology uses quantum dots to enhance color volume and brightness compared to traditional LCDs. You will notice richer, more vibrant colors that look lifelike, which is particularly useful for creative work like graphic design. This panel type generally offers better consistency across the screen. When comparing portable monitors, check if the model uses QLED to ensure you get superior color performance for visual projects.
Color Gamut: 100% DCI-P3
This metric indicates the monitor covers the entire DCI-P3 color space used in digital cinema. You gain accurate color reproduction for video editing and graphic design, ensuring your work looks consistent on other professional screens. It covers more colors than standard sRGB displays. When evaluating options, prioritize this spec if color accuracy is critical for your creative output or if you consume high-quality media content regularly.
Connectivity: USB-C, Mini HDMI
These ports allow you to connect the monitor to various devices using standard cables. USB-C supports video, data, and power delivery, simplifying your setup with modern laptops and phones. Mini HDMI provides compatibility with older devices or gaming consoles. You benefit from flexible connection options without needing extra adapters. When choosing a portable monitor, ensure the ports match the outputs of your primary devices for a seamless experience.
