The water-resistant canvas and shockproof lining make it a practical choice for commuters who face light rain or accidental bumps. Who should skip it
You should look at another option if your monitor exceeds the 17.3-inch size, as the internal dimensions are fixed. Key specs explained for this case
Internal dimensions: 16.1 x 11.6 x 1 inch
These measurements define the exact space inside the sleeve. You must measure your portable monitor against these internal numbers before buying. If your device is thicker than one inch, it will not fit. This ensures a snug fit that prevents the screen from shifting during transport, protecting it from scratches.
External dimensions: 16.5 x 12 x 1.2 inch
The outside size determines how much room this case takes in your backpack or briefcase. At 1.2 inches thick, it adds minimal bulk. You can slide this sleeve into a larger bag easily. This slim profile is ideal for travelers who need to carry their monitor alongside a laptop without adding heavy weight.
Material: Water-resistant canvas
The outer shell uses canvas fabric treated to resist water and vapor. This helps protect your monitor from light rain or accidental spills while you are commuting. It does not make the case fully waterproof. You should still avoid submerging it. This feature adds a layer of security for daily outdoor use.
Lining: Soft and anti-static
The interior lining is designed to be gentle on your screen. The anti-static property reduces the risk of attracting dust or causing electrical interference. The soft texture absorbs shocks from minor bumps. This helps prevent scratches and damage to the display surface when you are moving your portable monitor in a crowded environment.
